City to continue contract with M.A. Polce for Information Technology operations
The city will continue to contract out to M.A. Polce Consulting of Rome for its Information Technology operations.
The Board of Estimate and Contract voted Thursday to approve a new contract with the company, which is headquartered at the Griffiss Business and Technology Park.
The deal is for three years, and starts when the contract is signed. The contract is $132,780 for the first year. The second year it is $137,424. The third year it’s $142,236.
The previous contract with the company covered Aug. 1, 2013 through July 31, 2016. For the first year, it was $148,320. Each of the other two years were for $123,954.
The company was brought on board to run the city’s computer operations under then Mayor James F. Brown.
Polce was the only company to respond to the city’s request for proposals.
