CAMDEN — The Camden Area Unitarian Universalists will hold the annual Water Communion ritual Sunday, Sept. 10 at 10 a.m. at 850 Curtiss Road.

Created nearly 40 years ago, this ritual has come to celebrate water, community and the interdependence of all existence.

During the service, participants bring a sample of water from a place with special meaning for them. All the different waters are mingled in a common vessel.

The blended waters symbolize Unitarian Universalism, where people of many faith traditions join in a spiritual community.

Camden Area Unitarian Universalists hold services at 10 a.m. on the second and fourth Sundays of the month and welcome visitors.
