Immanuel Baptist to host speaker

Brian Crawford, a representative of Chosen People Ministries, will speak March 12 at 6 p.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church, 1006 W. Embargo St.

His topic is “Teaching Christian Believers How to Effectively Share Our Faith in Jesus Messiah to Jews.”

The mission was founded in Brooklyn in 1894 by Rabbi Leopold Cohn, a Hungarian Jewish immigrant who came to believe that Jesus was the messiah of Israel. It has become an international ministry with outreach centers in the U.S. as well as Argentina, Australia, Canada, England, France, Germany, Israel, Mexico and Ukraine.

Chosen People Ministries is committed to bring the gospel message of salvation in Jesus “to the Jew first and to the gentile” throughout the world.
