Augusta church hosts Old Home Days Service

AUGUSTA — The Augusta Presbyterian Church, 2345 Route 26, will hold a special Old Home Days Service at 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 21.

The service will feature the choir singing the anthem, “Cornerstone.” There will be special music by the James & Potter Cold Mountain Quartet, with special guests Jay & Jimrming for this special occasion.

The church will also dedicate its new sign in memory of Fannie May Terrier, a long-time member of the church, who passed away in 2017. All may attend. There will also be Sunday School that morning.

Also on Saturday, Oct. 20, Augusta Presbyterian Church will host its Kid’s Halloween Party as part of Augusta Old Home Days from 1-3 p.m. Children of all ages are invited. There will be games, crafts and snacks. Kids can wear their Halloween costumes if they wish.
