Dorfman Center, DiCastro’s team up for food, fun
The Ava Dorfman Community Center, 305 E. Locust St., hosted the, “Never Trust a Skinny Chef,” fine dining night. The event was brought back by popular demand. This was a great collaboration with DiCastro’s Brick Oven restaurant. We were joined by Chefs Frank Belmont and Kylee Haley to help us make everything possible. Tuesday night was filled with great food and even better company. Once again everyone left with a full stomach and smiling faces.
The Dorfman Center was pleased to be working with DiCastro’s Brick Oven restaurant. The center was also lucky to have CDPHP Health Insurance to co-sponsor with us. The night was filled with new and tasteful cooking tips. The menu included four delicious courses with dinner served while the chefs made each course on stage. Our meal consisted of a special creamy bisque, Arancini Di Riso — rice balls, roasted pork braciola with homemade pasta Pomodoro lastly, a decadent cheese cake topped with salted caramel was how the chefs topped off the night. “Never Trust a Skinny Chef” is truly an exciting time at our community center. This is a don’t miss event.
The crowd was interactive and ready to learn This made for an enjoyable Tuesday night. The Ava Dorfman Center would like to thank DiCastro’s Brick Oven Restaurant and CDPHP Health Insurance for your generous contributions and for making this evening possible.
