So, it was a ma jor salute to Rome Community Theater when the association presented RCT five awards after a recent adjudication.

The association divides awards in areas of meritorious achievement, excellence and outstanding skill.

Here are the highlights for RCT: Meritorious Achievement in Acting to Catherine Gudaitis; Excellence Award in Acting to Steven James; Meritorious Achievement in Acting to Mark Hanna; Excellence Award in Direction to Arnie Galin, and Excellence Award in Stage Managing to Jean Gudaitis.

The association adjudicated RCT’s production of “Radium Girls” on Dec. 10 by Joan Luther.

Luther noted the play was “well paced and thoughtfully executed.”
