Another sudsy salute for Copper City Brewing
Copper City Brewing Company is proud to be the first local microbrewery in over 80 years.
Located at 1111 Oneida St., Copper City Brewing can add another accolade to its list of honors: It has been chosen by Craft/Beer.com readers as one of the best beer bars in America.
As Copper City Brewing’s website (coppercitybrewing.com) declares: “Copper City Brewing Company was established to bring Rome’s rich brewing history back to life!”
The brewery is operated by Danny Frieden and Eric Daniels. With 12 taps, it offers snacks and encourages customers to bring their own food order from local restaurants.
Some of its colorful and tasty brews include Woods Valley Witte, Air Base Amber Lager, Delta Debacle and Czech Please Pilsner.
Regarding the special award, CraftBeer.com notes that readers were asked to nominate their favorite craft beer bar in their state and fill out a brief survey why it is so great. Some 8,000 votes were cast. Another aspect that makes Copper City Brewing special is that customers can enjoy a brew with a view since the brewery is in plain sight of the bar.
Good luck to this unusual addition to the suds scene. The owners are dedicated to bringing back brewing into the community, allowing locals and visitors alike the chance to celebrate Rome’s history in the craft beer industry.
