SYLVAN BEACH — Teri Minor-Collins, 54, passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse.

Teri was born to Jerry Collins, of North Bay, and Carol (Coleman) Collins, of Osceola, on July 12, 1963. She attended Camden High School, graduating Class of 1981. She enjoyed a number of different careers over the years, such as working customer service for the airlines or selling real estate, but nothing compared to the pride she had for her greatest accomplishment: her four beautiful children.

Teri was always full of energy. She loved the outdoors, growing up on Oneida Lake, and spent countless hours windsurfing, biking, running, swimming, skiing, and working out at the gym. She was also known as an outstanding cook and phenomenal baker. Her specialty, the world’s best cheesecake, could not be rivaled by anyone.

Teri married Rob Minor on July 17, 1992, and Teri would spend the next part of her life growing her family and living throughout the United States, from Hawaii to Maine, as Rob completed his career as an officer in the United States’ Navy. But no matter where she lived, home was always Sylvan Beach, where she would spend the last years of her life.

Teri is survived by Rob Minor and their children, Rachael Minor, Jack Minor, Daniel Minor, and Pariss Minor, the true loves of her life. She is also survived by her mother, Carol (Coleman) Rall and her step-father, George Rall, her sister and best friend Kristine Puckey and her husband Andrew, her step-mother Janet Collins, and her siblings Jerry Schutte, Michael Rall, Candy Rall, Ernie Rall, and George Rall, as well as their spouses and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Teri was predeceased by her father Jerry Collins and her sister Mary Schutte.

Services will be held at noon Saturday, December 9, 2017 at South Bay Chapel, 8954 Morris Road, Canastota. Interment will immediately follow services at North Bay Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Teri’s life following interment at Kelly’s Pub, 2098 State Route 49, North Bay.

Arrangements are under the direction of McGrath, Myslinski, Karboski & Nunn Funeral Directors, 470 French Rd., Utica.
