Robert ‘Bob’ Messenger

Robert Warren Messenger (Bob) passed away on July 9, 2017 at his home in Snellville, Georgia at the age of 73. He was born on Feb. 3, 1944 in Lowville, NY and is predeceased by his parents Lawrence Sr. and Helen Shaver Messenger and a brother, Steven Messenger. He is survived by his wife, Zoe Rybicky Caprice Messenger; a brother, Lawrence Messenger Jr.; a son, Robert Warren Messenger Jr.; and 2 step children, Tanya Lynn Caprice Giglio and William Matthew Caprice. His grandchildren include Joshua Robert Messenger and Alexis Michele Giglio, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Bob served in the U.S. Army for 3 years in the early sixties and was a lifetime member of the American Legion. He worked for the Coca-Cola Company in Rochester, NY for 15 years and was an entrepreneur for both Wise Potato Chips in Rochester, NY and RPS/Fed EX in Georgia. He also owned a franchise for PostNet in Georgia until he retired in 2013.

The Memorial Service to honor and celebrate the life of Robert Warren Messenger will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 8:00 p.m., Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel.
