Leslie Tagliere Baker

Leslie Tagliere Baker, 53, passed away on Monday, Oct. 9, 2017, in St. Cloud, Fla. She was born Dec. 30, 1963 in Rome, N.Y., the daughter of Nancy Cummings Tagliere, 84, of Rome, and the late Eustacchio (Mac) Tagliere III.

Leslie was educated in Rome schools, but graduated in St. Cloud, Fla. She worked in the food industry in the St. Cloud area for several years. Most recently she was selflessly volunteering her time tending to the hurricane victims in Ocala, FL.  

Leslie was a dedicated soccer and BMX mom while her children were growing up. Since becoming a grandmother, she loved spending her extra time with her grandchildren and tending to her butterfly garden. She had an angel’s soul and an undeniable love for her children. 

Leslie is survived by two children, Stephanie (Steve) Miller of Knoxville, Tenn. and Cory (Tina) Baker of St. Cloud, Fla.; three grandchildren, Cayden, Dru and Myla; her mother, Nancy Tagliere of Rome, N.Y.; two sisters, Paula Tagliere of Rome, N.Y. and Teri (Charlie) Meyers of Choctaw, Okla.; her fiancé, Jimmy Coffey of St. Cloud; her ex-husband Fred Baker of St. Cloud, Fla.; lifelong friends Tracey and Doug Murling; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Nicholas Baker; her brother, Tom Tagliere; her father, Eustacchio (Mac) Tagliere III; and three nephews, Joshua Tagliere, Joseph Zigrino III, and Shane Wilson.

Services will be held at Osceola Memory Gardens, 2000 13th St., St. Cloud, Fla., on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017 from noon to 4 p.m. A separate memorial service will be held in Rome, N.Y. at a later date.
