James P. Cook

James P. Cook, 63, of Taberg, passed away on Friday, August 4, 2017 at the Katherine Lutheran Home in Clinton after a long illness. He was born in Rome on July 25, 1954, the son of Maynard and Marge Willson Cook. He was a graduate of Camden High School.

James was a member of St. Patrick’s Church in Taberg and loved hunting, fishing, and four wheeling.

He is survived by his mother, Marge Cook of Taberg; a daughter, Tiffany Vetter of Taberg; four sisters, Bonnie (Charlie) Morgan of Taberg, Holly (Al) Reber of Camden, Dawn (Tommy Deeley) Wells of Camden, and Lori Cook of Taberg; a brother, Daniel (Dana) Cook of Taberg; a granddaughter, Alicia; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Maynard.

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday at 2:00PM at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 9464 State Rt. 13, Camden. Interment will take place in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Taberg. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Tuesday prior to the service from 12-2:00PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in James’ memory may be made to the Taberg Volunteer Fire Department. 9066 Meadows Rd., Taberg, NY 13471.
