Jacqueline “J-Lo” Lombino of 6 Kavod Rd., New Hartford, entered into eternal rest on January 5, 2018, with family and friends at her side. Jackie was born March 10, 1954, daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Hughes) Lombino, sister of the late Elizabeth Block. She enjoyed living at home with her family until moving to Gan Kavod’s Birch ICF, where she was known as “The Princess”.

Jackie was loved for her spunkiness and unique fashion sense. She enjoyed dancing at family events, riding her bicycle and her favorite foods - hot dogs, Spaghetti O’s and M&Ms. She decorated her room with a vibrant “Hello Kitty” theme and was a huge fan of stuffed animals. She enjoyed expressing herself creatively through coloring.

Jackie is survived by nephews, Christopher Block and his children Cody (“Cokie”) and Mackenzie (“Kendie”) of Herkimer; and Jason (Carrie) Block and his children Katrin and Braedyn of Rome; and several cousins. “J-Lo” will also be missed and remembered fondly by staff of Gan Kavod, who were honored to be able know her for ten years.

Calling hours are Wednesday, January 10, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, 418 N. George St., Rome, with services at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial in the Rome Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family.
