Diane L. (Chandler) Ren

Diane L. Ren, 79, of Camden, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2017, at Rome Memorial Hospital. She was born in Syracuse on March 29, 1938, the daughter of Roland and Margaret Mosher Chandler. She was a graduate of Cicero-North Syracuse High School. On October 25, 1958, she married Edwin B. Ren in Cicero Center. 

Diane and Ed owned and operated Ren’s Family Market in McConnellsville from 1969-1991. She also worked at Key Bank in Canastota for several years. 

She was a member of the Camden United Methodist Church. Diane was also an avid bowler and loved to play pitch. 

She was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother. 

Surviving besides her husband, Edwin, are two daughters, Maryrose (Richard) Bozogian of Manlius and Margaret “Peggy” Bielby of Blossvale; a son, David (Michele) Ren of Waldorf, MD; five sisters, Marjorie Ahrens of Washington, PA, Nancy (Neil) Hayes of Virginia Beach, VA, Joyce (William) Cruikshank of Blacksburg, VA, Elaine Chandler of Fayetteville, and Janet (Dan) Jones of Elkton, VA; three brothers, Roger (Nancy) Chandler of Cicero, Richard (Angela) Chandler of Santa Cruz, CA, and Rusty (Sherry) Chandler of Jacksonville, FL; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Diane’s memory may be made to the Humane Society of Rome, 6247 Lamphear Rd., Rome NY 13440.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 9464 State Rt. 13, Camden.
