Carol A. Morgan, 74, of Blossvale, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 7, 2017. She was born and raised in Blossvale, the daughter of the late Edward and Eleanor Rathbun Kenneally, and attended Camden Central Schools.

She retired as the head custodian at North Bay Elementary School where she worked for many years.

Carol was Past President and a very active member of the Meeker-O’Rourke American Legion Post 1309 Ladies Auxiliary.

She loved taking trips to the casino and spending time at her camp in Mountainview.

Carol is survived by her beloved husband, Thomas Morgan; two children, Terry (Todd) Coady of McConnellsville and Thomas (Dawn Wells) Deeley of Camden; a sister, Linda (Jack) Purdy of Rome; step-children, Jenny Lynn Morgan and Thomas Morgan of Ohio; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; her very special best friend, Nancy Edwards of Camden; and her late sister Joan Stratton’s significant other, Paul Gigliotti.

Carol was known as the life of the party and was loved by many, but her family would like to acknowledge Nancy Edwards, who went above and beyond to help care for Carol. We know that by now Carol is playing pitch with her parents and her sister Joan. Her strong will, bright humor, and beautiful soul will live on through all of the people she loved and who loved her.

Family and friends are invited to call at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 9464 State Rt. 13, Camden, on Monday from 12-2 p.m. and a graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Taberg.
