TABERG — Andrew L. Salmon, 18, of Coal Hill Road, passed away unexpectedly on October 2, 2017 as a result of a motor vehicle accident. He was born on February 7, 1999 in Utica, NY, a son of Michael J. and Barbara J. Green Salmon. Andrew was employed by Walmart as an afternoon stock clerk and recently began a new job as a part-time concrete worker. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and riding dirt bikes. All of Andrew’s time spent with “Grandpa Bud” was very precious to him.

Andrew is survived by his parents, Michael and Barbara Salmon; one sister, Amanda Sparks, Washington; two brothers, Allan Salmon, New Hartford, NY, and Joey Barbato, Rome, NY; maternal grandmother, Joan Green, Clinton, NY; paternal grandparents and idol, Allan “Grandpa Bud” and Marie Salmon, Mesquite, NV; niece and one nephew; special aunt, Michelle Crane; and several other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday from St. Patrick’s Church, Taberg, NY under the direction of LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., Camden, NY. Interment Maple Hill Cemetery, Taberg, NY. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home, 109 Main Street.
