VERONA — The pie sale in the First Presbyterian Church, at the corner of Main Street and Rock Road, is from 10 a.m. until noon or sold out Saturday. The wrong date was listed in Saturday’s story. Several varieties of homemade pies, small and large, will be available.

Car wash aids book bag give-away

Voices for Christ will hold its Citywide Crusade Book Bag Fund-raiser Car Wash from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Franklyn’s Field on Black River Boulevard.

Cars, trucks, vans and other vehicles may be washed. Those who don’t wish to participate in the car wash may still make a donation for the book bag fund-raiser.
