Late-start options at MVCC
A late-start program of online and traditional courses, begining the week of Sept. 10 and continuing through Dec. 7, was announced by Mohawk Valley Community College.
The courses are geared for students who are unable to begin the semester on the traditional Aug. 20 date. Among the options:
¿ College Seminar (CRN 12272), 1 credit hour, online course.
¿ English 1: Composition (CRN 14604), 3 credit hours, 4-5:35 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, Utica campus.
¿ Concepts in Mathematics (CRN 14487), 3 credit hours, 6-7:35 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, Utica campus.
¿ Intro to General Psychology (CRN 18101), 3 credit hours, 4-5:35 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, Utica campus.
¿ Computer Applications & Concepts 1 (CRN 16567), 3 credit hours, online, with lab (CRN 16566) from 6-7:35 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, Utica campus.
To register, visit www.mvcc.edu/coursesearch and search by CRN. Students will not be able to receive Tuition Assistance Program aid and will only receive a partial PELL/federal grants award if they are only registered in late-start sections. To determine federal aid available, a FAFSA/Free Application for Federal Student Aid must be filed with the Department of Education at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
