ArcStock festival Saturday features Shania Twin band
WAMPSVILLE — The music festival ArcStock will take place on Saturday at the Firemen’s Field in Wampsville at noon. The Building Futures Foundation for Madison Cortland Arc announced that headline act will be Shania Twin, a popular tribute band to Shania Twain. Admission is $10.
Other bands will include Gregory Street Blues Band, Sammy award winners Los Blancos and Matt Chase and Thunder Canyon.
"We are so fortunate to have such great lineup for this year’s event." Says Wayne Horning, Special Projects Director for Madison Cortland ARC, "Shania Twin, looks and sounds exactly like Shania Twain."
There will also be crafters, raffles, and food available.
The Ride for the ARC, a motorcycle run throughout Madison County, will take place prior to ArcStock. Registration for the ride begins 8:30 a.m., with kickstands up at 10 a.m. The cost to ride is $20, which includes lunch and admission to ArcStock. Cooked Art and professional photographers who specialize in motorcycle photography will be on site.
All proceeds will benefit the Building Futures Foundation, Inc., a public charity for Madison Cortland Arc. Building Futures Foundation provides grants to underfunded programs to help people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities at Madison Cortland Arc.
