FLOYD — The Floyd United Methodist Church, 8398 New Floyd Road (Route 365) holds its annual Chicken Barbecue and Flea Market on Saturday, Aug. 11, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The chicken barbecue will be sold from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Cost is $8.75 for adults, $4.50 for children 5-12 years, 4 and under eat free. The meal includes half a chicken, salt potatoes, baked beans, cole slaw, roll and butter and cookies for dessert. Take outs are available.

The Floyd Community Band performs from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
