Three authors visit next week

Hamilton — The Colgate Bookstore will co-sponsor public readings/discussions with three authors next week. All events are free and open to the public, and will be held at the Colgate Bookstore, 3 Utica St., at 5 p.m.

The schedule:

Monday ­ Tina Post holds a master’s of fine arts degree in creative nonfiction from the University of Alaska Anchorage. She recently published her first essay, "Fight and Flight: The Near Room" in Stone Canoe, where it won the S.I. Newhouse School Prize for Creative Nonfiction. Her current writing focuses on the themes of boxing and race in America.

Tuesday ­ Elizabeth Eulberg was born and raised in Wisconsin before heading off to college in Syracuse and making a career in the New York City book business. She’s the author of the teen novels Take a Bow (set at a performing arts high school), Prom & Prejudice, and The Lonely Hearts Club.

Wednesday, Aug. 8 ­ Frank Cammuso is a political cartoonist for the Syracuse Post-Standard and author of the comic book series "Max Hamm, Fairy Tale Detective." His graphic novels include "The Knights of the Lunch Table" series and Otto’s Orange Day.
