NEW HARTFORD — Double Barrel Blues Band hosts the Mohawk Valley Blues Society New Hartford Jam on Wednesday, in The Ramada Inn. The band will kick off the evening with a set at 7 p.m., followed by jammers until 10 p.m.

Admission is $3 or $1 for MVBS members.

The MVBS Jam is held the second Wednesday of each month, and is open to all blues musicians. The Double Barrel Blues Band has performed in clubs and at major festivals all across New York and Florida. Its CD, "Bad Bad Feeling," a 2009 SAMMY — Syracuse Area Music Award — nominee for "Best Blues Recording," got radio play across America and internationally from Argentina to Norway, Denmark, France and Spain.
