Foundation hires two
The Community Foundation of Herkimer & Oneida Counties has announced two new employees.
Cassaundra Baber of New Hartford joins as marketing and communications officer. Barbara Henderson of Oneida has been hired to the new position of vice president for programs and community initiatives.
Baber has more than a decade of experience with not-for-profit agencies. She served roles in local social service agencies, such as The Family Nurturing Center of Central New York and Kids Oneida. Most recently, she was a reporter.
Henderson is the founding executive director of the Cazenovia Area Community Development Association. She also worked in Regional Community Development for the Mohawk Valley Heritage Corridor Commission.
