Leona M. Rollins, 70, of Rome, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, July 4, 2012.
She was born July 13, 1941 in Rome the daughter of Henry and Mary Kubasik Brzuszkiewicz,
Leona was a graduate of Rome Free Academy.
She was employed at Griffiss Air Force Base for thirty-three years retiring in 1995.
Leona attended St. Paul’s Church.
She was an avid reader and enjoyed shopping.
Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Renee and Joe Scalise, Rome; two sisters and a brother-in-law, S. Jane and David Stephan, Rome, Janet E. Allison, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Vincent and Sharon Narolis, Rome; two granddaughters, Adriana and Briana; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Mary and step-father, John Narolis.
A memorial Mass of the Christian Burial will be held Monday 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul’s Church. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery.
