Free city concerts start tonight on art center lawn

City concerts start tonight at 7 on the lawn at the Rome Art and Community Center, 308 W. Bloomfield St. The Third Street Project performs.

Visitors for the free event are asked to park in the RACC lot or adjacent streets, not at the Y, enter through the main gate off the driveway. The art center is a smoke-free facility and smoking is prohibited on RACC grounds. The public is encouraged to bring chairs/blankets for seating on the lawn. Rome Art And Community Center will sell refreshments and snacks to raise funds for Center operations. Outside food and beverage is not permitted.

The series is planned by the City of Rome Parks Department and sponsored by First Source Federal Credit Union, Wal-Mart and Rome Art And Community Center.
