DWI charged in Boonville
BOONVILLE — A 64-year-old man registered a blood alcohol content of twice the legal threshold after law enforcers found him swerving on South Street Friday.
Police said Dennis Dutch, of 115 South St., was pulled over at 10:27 p.m. after officers saw him swerving while turning off Route 294 onto South Street. Police said Dutch also had a taillight out.
Police said Dutch registered a bac of .016 percent, twice the legal limit of 0.08 percent.
Dutch is charged with driving while intoxicated, driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or greater, failure to signal turn and inadequate taillights, police said. He was released on appearance tickets to Village Court for July 11.
