Michael John Ceklovsky

Michael John Ceklovsky, born in Rome, New York on September 27, 1946, passed away suddenly in Roseville, CA on June 19, 2012 at the age of 65 years. He accomplished a great many things in his short time on earth. He served honorably in the U.S. Army during the 1960’s, became an aircraft pilot, established a 40-year career as a registered pharmacist, was an avid student of World War II and aviation history, and a passionate motorcycle enthusiast. He was a patriot, a loyal friend to many with a renowned outgoing personality and a dedicated supporter of St Jude’s Children Hospital. But first and foremost, he was a son, brother, uncle, father and grandfather, who loved his family above all else.

Michael is survived by his son Michael John Ceklovsky II (Kathlene); brothers, Joseph P. Ceklovsky (Dianne) and Dennis F. Ceklovsky; grandson, Aidan Michael Ceklovsky; nieces and nephews, Cathi Plumley (John), Joseph (Natalie), Marc and Dennis Ceklovsky II (Claire) and Christine Longero (John). He was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Frances Ceklovsky. He was also predeceased by his much beloved Giant Schnauzer, "Vito", who was his constant companion.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held today at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 1333 58th St. Entombment, St. Mary’s Cemetery.
