Utica Roadrunners holding summer program

The Utica Roadrunners will be holding a new program during the summer for youth cross country runners in grades 6-12.

The Youth XC Development program runs for four weeks beginning on Monday, July 16 until Friday, Aug. 10. Participants will get together every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8-11 a.m. to practice at various parks, including but not limited to T.R. Proctor Park, Roscoe Conkling Park and Deerfield Wilderness Park, and will also feature guest speakers.

The membership fee is $50 for current Utica Roadrunners members and $60 for non-members.

The program will also be hosting two cross country races at SUNYIT on Saturday, July 16 and Saturday, Aug. 11. Both races are open to all ages. Race registration is $10 for non-members and free for program members.
