Mucks sings in Remsen

REMSEN — Singer-Songwriter and author Donna Mucks performs at 7 p.m. Friday in the Remsen Performing and Visual Arts Center, 9627 Main St.

Admission is $6 or $5 for members, $4 for students and those 65 and older.

She has been entertaining around Central New York at coffee houses, benefits, nursing homes and even preschools, since 2008. Her music is best described as Folk, guided by her faith and often inspired by nature.

Her faith is evidenced in her lyrics as well as her stories when she performs. Donna talks about being led by the spirit.

Donna has released two CD’s, "Walking," produced by Dan Duggan of Esperance Music and "Faith and Service" recorded at Subcat Studios, featuring central New York musician Nick Piccininni. On Walking, several of the songs were written at Great Camp Sagamore in Raquette Lake and promoters say you will feel the influence of nature in the lyrics. Songs on Faith and Service cover topics such as meeting someone on a plane, a reminder to be still in this crazy busy world and a tribute to our military heroes.
