Weekends in jail for sex with 16-year-old
A 24-year-old man accused of having sex with an underage girl in Boonville has been sentenced to weekends in county jail.
Andrew Cummings, 3852 West Road, Turin, was sentenced by County Court Judge Michael L. Dwyer June 4 to four weekends in jail and six years probation on a charge of sexual misconduct.
The indictment said on Aug. 13 and 14, Cummings had sex with a 16-year-old girl in Boonville.
Also in County Court:
¿ Jerry Jones, 53, of 419 N. George St., pleaded guilty before Judge Dwyer June 1 to fourth-degree grand larceny. His case was forwarded to the court-sponsored drug treatment program.
The indictment said between Jan. 24 and Feb. 10, Jones stole more than $1,000 worth of jewelry from a woman in Lee Center.
¿ Michael S. Donahue, 18, of 7 North St., Clark Mills, pleaded not guilty before Judge Donalty June 5 to three counts of second-degree burglary, two counts of petty larceny and one count each of fourth-degree grand larceny and fourth-degree mischief. His case was adjourned for report to June 12.
The indictment said Donahue broke into the same residence three times on Clark Mills Road in Whitestown on April 4, 6 and 9. The indictment said Donahue stole a credit card, liquor, rosary beads, a set of keys, a phone charger and cash.
¿ Denis Toney, 44, of 128 E. Bloomfield St., pleaded guilty before Judge Dwyer June 1 to first-degree contempt. His case was adjourned for sentencing to July 16.
The indictment said on March 16, Toney broke into a woman’s North Washington Street residence, in violation of an order of protection.
¿ Thomas A. Sperduto, 35, of 3937 Bristol Road, Clinton, pleaded not guilty before Judge Donalty June 4 to one count each of second-degree burglary and petty larceny. His case was adjourned for report to June 18.
The indictment said on March 8, Sperduto broke into a residence on Bartlett Road in Westmoreland and stole a 52-inch, flatscreen television.
¿ Jeremiah Coon, 34, of 9223 Capron Road, Lee, was sentenced by Judge Donalty June 5 to 50 hours of community service, three years probation and was ordered to pay $250 in court fees on a charge of fourth-degree possession of a weapon.
The indictment said on Dec. 29, Coon was found with several firearms and ammunition in Lee.
