A Preeclampsia Foundation Bowl A Thon will be held in King Pin Lanes at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 17.

The $10 per person cost includes two games of bowling, shoes and food. There will also be a bake sale, Chinese auction and a raffle.

Preeclampsia is a life-threatening disorder that occurs only during pregnancy and the postpartum period. Preeclampsia and related disorders such as HELLP syndrome and eclampsia are most often characterized by a rapid rise in blood pressure that can lead to seizure, stroke, multiple organ failure and death of the mother and/or baby.
