Economic development funding workshop Monday

Workshops on how local businesses can apply for some of the $750 million in economic development funding available statewide will be held Monday from 9-11 a.m. at Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, and 2-4 p.m. at the Griffiss Institute, 725 Daedalian Drive at Griffiss park.

The workshops, open to businesses in Oneida and Herkimer counties, will be hosted by Mohawk Valley EDGE, according to a Mohawk Valley Regional Economic Development Council announcement.

The sessions will include an overview of the funding sources, plus details on completing the application and understanding the Consolidated Funding Application process. There also will be an opportunity for one-on-one questions regarding specific projects and applications.

Businesses are asked to complete a Priority Project Worksheet prior to the workshops; worksheet details are online at Call EDGE at 338-0393.
