Scenic Byways meeting June 13

BOONVILLE — A meeting regarding pending Corridor Management Plans for the Black River and Maple Traditions Scenic Byways is set for Wednesday, June 13. Reservations are requested, Call the Tug Hill Commission, (888) 785-2380 , or send an email to katie@tughill.org to sign up.

The session hosted by the The Tug Hill Commission and Adirondack North Country Association is from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Black River Canal Museum, Main Street and Route 12.

The agenda includes:

-- A review of the planning process;

-- Proposed changes to the plans and routes to address comments from the statewide Scenic Byways Advisory Committee; and

-- Next steps to move forward to completion of the plans and adoption of legislation.

Similar meetings are being held June 5 in Watertown and June 12 in Canton.
