A proposed expansion of one of the nine lots in the west Rome housing development on Humble Lane will be in front of the Planning Board when its meets Tuesday. The board will also return to the tabled review of a car wash on Rome-Taberg Road.
The five-member volunteer board will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Common Council chambers at City Hall.
The board will review a request to amend a previously approved nine-lot subdivision off Gifford Road. Developer Jim Kelly wants to expand the dimensions of the western-most lot. Humble Lane branches off the south side of Gifford Road and ends in a circle. The property covers 5.6 acres. The lots were approved initially at 10,152 square feet each.
The board previously tabled a plan from P.J. Uvanni Holdings to construct a 3,500 square foot one-story car wash at 5817 Rome-Taberg Road. The environmental and site plan reviews had to wait until the state Department of Environmental Conservation could submit comments to the board. The state has since responded with comments, so the review can move forward.
