Teen girl accused
of attacking deputy

VERONA — A teen-age girl is accused of attacking a sheriff’s deputy who responded to a domestic dispute at her Tilden Hill Road residence Saturday night.

Authorities said Kendall R. Talbot, 17, of 5561 Tilden Hill Road, was in an argument with her father at their residence at about 11:30 p.m. Deputy Robert Frankland responded to investigate, and authorities said Talbot turned on him. Authorities said Talbot punched Frankland in the face several times and repeatedly kicked him while he tried to take her into custody.

Talbot is charged with second-degree harassment, fourth-degree mischief and resisting arrest, deputies said. She was arraigned and sent to county jail in lieu of $500 cash bail or bond.
