Ex-Roman chief compliance officer for Wells Fargo
Former Roman Yvette Hollingsworth has been named chief compliance officer for Wells Fargo & Co.
Hollingsworth, a 1984 graduate of Rome Free Academy, will begin her new role on June 1. She most recently served as managing director and global head of Operations Compliance and Financial Crimes Compliance & Risk Management for Barclays Corporate & Investment Bank.
As chief compliance officer, Hollingsworth will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of the company meet compliance management responsibilities and abide by all applicable laws and regulations.
Hollingsworth spent approximately 10 years as a regulator with the Federal Reserve System with roles at the Federal Reserve Banks of San Francisco and New York as well as the Board of Governors.
Hollingsworth previously served on the Supervisory Committee of the Federal Reserve Credit Union, as vice president of Administration and Operations and as a member of the Board of the New York Chapter of the National Black MBA Association, and serves as a Board member and Vice Chairman of INROADS New York/New Jersey Region. She earned a master’s degree from Syracuse University and a bachelor’s degree from the SUNYIT in Marcy.
