The Rome Free Academy junior varsity baseball team pounded 15 hits while pulling away to a 11-1 triumph over Proctor High in Utica on Monday to finish the season at 8-9.

Anthony Pacciccia recorded two hits and three RBIs, while Josh Reed, Ian Hetherington, Justin Losowski and Adam Chmielewski each had hits.

Bernie Adorino recorded the win in relief for starter Tim Hickey, as the Black Knights ended the season winning six of their last seven games.
