Motorcyclist hurt in Paris crash

TOWN OF PARIS — A New Hartford man was sent to the hospital Saturday afternoon when his motorcycle crashed into a vehicle that entered his path at the intersection of Pinnacle Road and Oneida Street.

Jason Zangrilli, 38, was southbound on Oneida Street on his 1995 Harley Davidson when a vehicle driven by Pughe Caruso, 63, of Sauquoit, proceeded from Pinnacle Road into the intersection and into the path of the motorcycle, Deputy Jesse Tuthill said. Zangrilli suffered injuries to his collar bone and leg and was transported by Edwards Ambulance to St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Utica, for treatment. Caruso was charged with failure to yield the right of way and will appear in Paris Town Court.
