HOLLAND PATENT — Wildflower sings in the Park Coffee House at 8 p.m. Saturady.
Admission is $8. Homemade refreshments are available in a candle lit coffee house setting.
Organizers said the group "is a delightful and entertaining trio composed of Vicky Stockton, Gail Brett, and Breena Ray."
Vicky fronts the group with her guitar "and quick and humorous wit. Gail sings a clear and pretty soprano lead harmonized by Breena on the high end and Vicky on the low. All three get involved with various string and percussion instruments as they carry their audience along on a beautifully melodious journey, filled with lovely harmony, sing-alongs, and good humor."
The body of work the group performs ranges from a take off on the Andrew sisters to traditional and contemporary folk music. The trio has been known to borrow from Bach to Boogie Woogie and often gets the audience involved in singing.
Wildflower has a performed at the Park for most of the 25 years the coffee house has been open. The Park Coffee House is located in a fellowship building of the First Presbyterian Church in Holland Patent facing the village park and just off route 365.
