RFA falls to West Genesee

The Rome Free Academy boys lacrosse team suffered a major setback on Tuesday night by dropping to a 16-3 loss to visiting West Genesee at the Stadium.

Jake Gulla put in both a goal and an assist for Rome, as Randy Linderman and Devin Trifeletti each knocked in a goal apiece. Goaltender RJ Ferrucci recorded 14 saves in net.

Tim Barber paced West Genesee by breaking out to six goals and three assists, as Dan Ginesteo put in three goals and an assist, and Matt Shattner added three goals and two helpers.

RFA’s record drops to 9-4 overall.
