Accused of punching brother
A 21-year-old man is accused of punching his younger brother in the face and head at his residence Thursday.
Police said Joshua A. Burgdoff, of 329 N. Doxtator Street, was in a fight with his 16-year-old brother at 9:37 p.m. Thursday, during which he hit the teen-ager in the face and head. In a statement to police, the victim said they were throwing a water ball at each other. The victim said that when he threw the ball at Burgdoff, the ball accidentally hit Burgdoff’s girlfriend instead. That’s when Burgdoff attacked, according to the victim’s statement.
Burgdoff is charged with third-degree assault and second-degree harassment, authorities stated. He was held in lockup overnight to await arraignment today in City Court.
