Anderson elected to board of Mohawk Valley EDGE
Brian Anderson, lead economic development representative for National Grid, ihas been elected to the Mohawk Valley EDGE Board of Directors.
Anderson has more than 15 years experience in the economic development field. He has been an economic developer with National Grid since 1999. During the last 12 years, Anderson has worked extensively with local, regional and state economic developers in central and western New York.
Prior to his employment with National Grid, Anderson worked as an economic development specialist for the Genesee County Industrial Development Agency in Batavia. He earned the Certified Economic Developer designation from the International Economic Development Council.
Anderson lives in Cicero, with his wife, Susan, and two girls, Shannon and Keira. He received his bachelors’ degree from Canisius College in Buffalo, and his master’s degree from LeMoyne College in Syracuse.
The EDGE board is comprised of 55 community leaders from Oneida and Herkimer counties.
