Spring Migration Festival two days

LENOX — The Great Swamp Conservancy, 8375 N. Main St. on the corner of Pine Ridge Road, hosts its 11th annual Spring Migration Nature Art Festival from 10 a.m to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

There is a "suggested donation" of $3/adult and $1/child under 12, GSC members $2.

This two-day event has environmental and conservation programs and displays including:

"Talons! Birds of Prey,"

the Utica Zoo-Mobile,

WoodCreek Reptiles,

Central New York Tractor Club,

Rome Fish Hatchery trout display,

Trout Unlimited,

Reynolds Game Farm live Pheasant display,

NYS Bluebird Society,

Children’s Nature Nut area,

Quail watch,

wagon ride to 60 acre wetland to view the Great Blue Heron rookery and

trail walks.

There will also be acoustic music as visitors welcome back spring, and honor migratory birds.

The conservancy is about in the middle of the Madison County Town of Lenox, two miles south from Route 31 at Messengers Bay on North Main Street or about three miles northwest and west on Pine Ridge Road from Route 13.
