Prostate Cancer update on May 8
NEW HARTFORD — Faxton St. Luke’s Healthcare’s Regional Cancer Center and The American Cancer Society’s Man to Man Support Group will host "Prostate Cancer Update: What’s New in 2012" on Tuesday, May 8. The event begins at 6 p.m. in the Soggs Room at St. Luke’s Home, on the St. Luke’s Campus, 1650 Champlin Ave.
The seminar will be led by Gennady Bratslavsky, MD, professor and chair of the Department of Urology at SUNY Upstate Medical University.

In 2010 there were 217,730 new cases of prostate cancer diagnosed in the United States.
The Man to Man Education and Support Group is a forum for anyone that is interested in learning about prostate cancer and male health issues through presentations, written materials and videos. The group meets monthly to help men and their families cope with and understand prostate cancer treatment options and quality of life issues after treatment.
