Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney dominated the voting in Tuesday’s primary in Oneida County, according to final vote counts announced by the county Board of Elections.

In the county’s current 23rd Congressional District, Romney collected 223 votes, beating out Paul (74 votes), Gingrich (62 votes) and Santorum (58 votes). There are 22 election districts.

Romney won the county’s current 24th Congressional District by a similar margrin. He received 1,792 votes. Gingrich collected 477. Paul received 452. Santorum received 388. There are 170 election districts.

The combined vote counts for each candidate are: Romney with 2,015, Gingrich with 539, Paul with 526 and Santorum with 446 totaling 3526 votes.
