Chapter gets national award
The Leatherstocking Chapter of the National Contract Management Association has received an award for excellence and effective operations from the association.
The Walter R. Graalman Award is given annually "in recognition of chapter excellence and the demonstration of effective chapter operations," the Association noted. The Gold Graalman Award — given to the local chapter — is the highest level of achievement.
Chapter President Tom Harding said, "We were very pleased to learn that we were selected to receive the Gold Graalman Award for the second year in a row. This is validation of the hard work of our officers and leadership to provide the best value to our members."
Chapter Vice President Tina Panasci added, "NCMA is a great source for both experts or novices in the field of contract management."
