Murder mystery dinner April 20
Some tickets remain for "Death Takes a Cruise", an interactive Murder Mystery Dinner Theater, Friday, April 20 at 6:30 p.m. in the Rome Art And Community Center, 308 W. Bloomfield St.
Tickets ($40 per person or $75 per couple, with $5 discounts for RACC members) can be obtained by calling the center at 336-1040. Ticket price includes the Acme Mystery Company show and a buffet dinner with salad, appetizer, two entree selections, desserts and wine, beer or soda.
The Acme Mystery Company describes the play as "Grab your party hat, and step aboard our venerable river boat, The Mississippi Mistress as we prepare to sail down "The Big Muddy" for New Orleans and Mardi Gras! Wooo-hooo! The mighty Captain "Crawdaddy" Cretin will help you navigate the shoals, sand bars (and wet bars) while Scooter, your porter, and your Cruise Director, Lucy Belle Juniper, see to your comfort and entertainment. Watch out for the other passengers, though. They seem pretty suspicious. Someone might not make it to The Big Easy alive."
"Rome Art And Community Center is the perfect setting for a fun evening of (pretend) murder and mystery!" said RACC Executive Director Lauren Marie Getek. Proceeds go to help with center operations.
