Utica woman threatens
to jump from hospital roof
A 23-year-old woman was taken into custody Friday morning for threatening to jump off the roof of St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica.
Police said Carrie Bordeaux, of Noyes Street, Utica, climbed up to the roof of the hospital on Genesee Street at 11:56 a.m. and threatened to jump off.
Police said they were able to convince Bordeaux to surrender and she came down from the roof. Bordeux was then hospitalized for a mental health evaluation.
