Cincinnati Creek plays
Park Coffee House Saturday
HOLLAND PATENT — The Cincinnati Creek bluegrass band performs at 8 p.m. Saturday in the Park Coffee House.
Admission is $10.
This four-person band is led by Lori Thompson on mandolin and vocals, with Chris Pepe on banjo, Gary Dygert on guitar and dobro, and Cathy Martin on stand-up bass.
"Bluegrass fans will delight in many of the bluegrass standards the group brings to the coffee house," organizers said. "In addition band leader Lori Thomsen, the bands main vocalist, brings some of her original country songs to the mix. Easy going humor, down home songs, and the sounds and upbeat rhythms of bluegrass are the marks of Cincinnati Creek."
The Park Coffee House is located in the "Twin" churches across from the village park. Homemade desserts are served along with fair trade coffee and other coffee house beverages in a candle-lit small table format.
