FORESTPORT — A 63-year-old woman was ticketed for drunken driving after her sports-utility vehicle crashed into a garage on Elmwood Road Tuesday night.

Remsen-based state police said Sandra D. Knoblock, of Forestport, was traveling southwest shortly before 10 p.m. when her 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe went off the road and into the front yard of a private residence. Troopers said the SUV continued forward until it hit an attached garage on the residence in the village, near Maple Road.

Knoblock was not injured. Troopers said she was ticketed for driving while intoxicated.
