CAMDEN — Village police are investigating a possible robbery outside the McDonald’s restaurant on Oswego Street Tuesday morning.
Police said a high school student was driving around the restaurant at about 10 a.m. when he was approached by three males in their 20s. Police said one of the males demanded the student give him his ID or his wallet, then reached into the car and grabbed the student.
Police said the student hit the gas and drove off, leaving the three men. When he got home, he discovered that his necklace was missing. Police said they do not know if the necklace was taken by the three males or if it is simply lost.
One of the suspects was identified as having red hair and a scruffy red beard, police said. He was wearing a black hoodie.
Anyone with information about the attempted robbery is asked to call police at 245-1222. All calls will be kept confidential.
